Spending time out and about in our local communities has become a rare treat in an increasingly online world. For the past several years (2020 being the exception), my husband and I have made it a tradition to schedule a babysitter and enjoy a holiday shopping day date—and I can’t recommend it enough. Not only does it give us a fun date opportunity, but it also helps us prioritize shopping locally and more mindfully.
