I feel like this challenge comes down to the one mention of staying curious. Which, I really love. It is so easy to have your head to the ground and be productive to get things done instead of look around and see the world with wonder still among all the other tasks!

Absolutely!! And such a great point on the ability to prioritize it amidst our busy lives.

Ok this might be my favorite simple thing you’ve posted!

🥲 A little light on the "simple" this time, but worth it nonetheless, I think!

What a thought provoking challenge! Thank you for this, Brittany. I might be ready for deep thought after the kids go to bed tonight. xx

Yes perhaps putting it under the "simple" umbrella was a bit ambitious... I'm looking forward to doing it too!!

I spent a bit of time thinking about this tonight. I like to think that I keep an open mind and try to understand multiple viewpoints, but it is always good to have a reminder. What this really got me thinking about is, that I need to need to open my mind and heart to change other people’s minds as well. I have had a strong desire to turn inward over the past two months. Avoid the news, only talk to people who think like me, and I don’t think that is always the right thing to do. Boundaries are good for mental health, but sometimes I need to hear hard things and have hard conversations because it might change someone else’s mind 💙

I also requested that book on Libby. I’m finishing listening to, “The Purpose of Power” by Alicia Garza and also got me thinking about this very thing! Thanks so much for these thoughts today!!

The balance of navigating boundaries with having productive conversations definitely feels delicate in this current world of extremes, I really struggle with that.

Ooo thank you for that book recommendation, adding to my list!! Have you read Think Again by Adam Grant? That really gave me some great food for thought!!

I haven’t read that. I’m adding it to my list as well!
