Yay for this printable!!!! I made a menu for my son to help him choose things to do (not for the 3 s’s because he’s 6 but as ideas beyond screen time) and haven’t thought to make one for me! Genius!
Love this mindset. I recently created a thread in GPT and asked it to act as my budget accountability partner. Most nights, I send a message detailing what I purchased that day. It's been a really helpful way to reflect on and curb impulse spending. When I think of buying something, I momentarily think of those checkins, and am reminded that I want to reflect on a GOOD day that evening in line with my goals.
Finding offline dopamine is one of my love languages, friend. I LOVE all of these suggestions. I just took my visiting 8 year-old nephews on a picnic last week (well, we bought sandwiches at Bucee's and found a nearby park). These California kids thought it was the highlight of their week. So "outdoor picnics" is on my list. And we literally stumbled onto a new museum last week with the boys (more in next week's Fluff Stuff). These kids are VERY online, so it was a challenge getting them off and into the Real World this past week. Personally, the library or a bookstore are my ultimate joy. Or a new coffee shop with a friend.
Wow, what a successful time together! I love how those cheep thrills come through! I just did a little "spring energy" brainstorming and picnics are on my list-- especially once the ground thaws again!
The way I need this printable! I noticed this past week my phone usage has gone way up and I’m not to sure why. I’m excited to stick this on the fridge as a reminder!
Love this sm!! I have a list on notion called "a little break" that outlines all the things I can do during a 5-10 minute break instead of scrolling. It was so helpful when I was trying to cut down my screentime!

Oh I love that you are equipping him with strategies too!! 👏👏

What a smart way to stay mindful! I love that, Olivia. Thank you for sharing.
I actually started a list like this earlier today! after being inspired by doing some water coloring with my daughter after school.
✨ Love it, Wynne!! Sitting down to craft and create with our kids is such a lovely way to find inspiration!!
it was so peaceful & fun!

I've come to realize it requires constant recalibration. Having some of these displayed or on the ready is the. best kind of toolkit!!

LOVE THAT!!! Relearning the best sources of dopamine!!
