Fellow highly sensitive person here 🙋🏻‍♀️ and def feeling it heading into holiday season on top of being an election year 🥵 love box breathing! I learned 4-7-8 breathing (same thing) but like the simplicity of the box technique better because I always forget what number I’m on and then get stressed while trying to de-stress 🤣

😹 this is so me— anything with numbers stresses me out, which is why I just can’t keep up with enneagram conversations. 😵‍💫 I’m glad box breathing has been helpful to you too!

such a hectic time! I love to make gifts and my sweet friend loves to mock me when I am covered in fabric scraps and glitter glue the week before Christmas, baking cookies at 3am. Deserved. My 3-year-old randomly lead me in some box breathing exercises today and it felt like a win!!

I know exactly what you mean, why do we do this to ourselves?!! 🤪😝 I really wish the holidays were a bit more spread out, January and most of February have nothin' goin' on! Um and YES that's a huge win!!!

Right? Even March - May feel sleepy holiday wise. Christmas in February? I could get behind that!

Thank you, lovely Brittany!!! Soaking in all the simple things this season. Breathing AND your share from last week, 5 gratitudes— already a treasure to my home, heart and spirit!

Lastly, just this morning I was recording a message to a dear friend and reminding myself (and her to join) to breath… relax my shoulders and jaw… and continue breathing. So, I giggled at your divine timing with this today👏🏼😅🥰🥹😘

Appreciate you and your encouragement this season!!!🫶🏻🍁🍄‍🟫🥧🍯🍂

My therapist introduced me to box breathing last month and it's changed my life. I start pretty much every day by doing some box breathing. Last week I had a doctor appointment for my baby (due in Oct!) and when I started feeling some anxiety about the nurse struggling to get the heartbeat, I did box breathing right there in the moment to calm my own heart rate down. It's crazy how effective it is!

Wow, that’s so wonderful!!! I wish I’d known about it during pregnancy, to help take the edge off those little moments of anxiety. I’m so happy it’s a tool you use now!!

Taking a few breaths amongst the chaos and rushing can make such a difference - I also like the 4,8 breathing exercise.

This came at such a great time. I had a overwhelming moment last week and had to call my Dad to walk me through a breathing technique… sounds silly but was needed! Thanks Brittany!
