Literally having lavender syrup in my coffee every morning!! Also this might be my favorite post of yours yet. Sooo many incredible linked things (especially the piece from sustainable mindsets), so many great pushes to live more consciously. Loved it all!
Also I ADORE poshmark! I have for years. I love being able to return items there too once my kids are too big for them or they’re no longer aligned with my style. Keeping fashion circular!
What a delightful month, Brittany! Have you used ThredUp yet? I've been loving them. I recently cleaned out my closet and moved some of my warmer weather clothing to the front (lol, wishful thinking) and identified a few gaps. I then headed to ThredUp and ended up scoring a quilted jacket, three blouses, and three dresses for about $60! I also love that you can search an image from Pinterest so when I see an outfit I like I can look at options to recreate it. So fun!!
$60!!! That's amazing!! You know I looked into it last year after you mentioned it and couldn't get a good sense of how the clothing would look on me because of the mannequin styling, but I just had an a-ha!! I can look up the brand and item and see their images of it on models. That's how I ended up with my overalls to begin with. Okay and what you can upload Pinterest pictures-- sold!!!
I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us!! How exciting! And do we get to hear what your big project was? It sounds like it was a lot to finish up with sickness but you powered through! Wahooo!
I have to run to carpool and didn’t get a chance to click around yet but I’m excited for your vlog links and other Substacks! Your posts are like a warm hug and I LOVE seeing them pop up!!
The links, the Substacks, The Vlogs!!!! I want to consume everything :) :) :) - Also, I agree with you. Limiting news consumption has been my mental health game changer.
Brittany, thank you so much for the mention! It made me feel so happy! 💓 Also what a colourful roundup - the graphics and layout of this is gorgeous! I've not read Emma but I keep hearing about it everywhere so maybe this is my sign!?
This post 🙌🏻 love all the eBay links and Poshmark suggestions! The girls and I found Stalactite and Stalagmite fascinating. I’m looking forward to seeing how you update this cozy space!
Awe thanks, Brittany! So glad to be here. 💛 Law school ruined reading for me — for many years. Your Insta now Substack posts truly inspired me to get back into it a few years ago. And now I’m a fun-reading monster! All your content feels like a warm hug. 🤗
Brittany, you are too sweet thank you for sharing Cozy Pursuits!! 💖 I always feel an urge to read classics in the spring. I just recently started Jane Eyre and I'm loving it (though it is fact extremely wintery lol). I listened to the first two Lord of the Rings books last year and my favorite experience was listening to them while walking in my local forest preserve. It truly made me feel like I was on the journey with them.
I loved your book list, perfectly on point for spring!! Ooooo, that LOTR experience sounds lovely! I plan to read those at some point too! I read the first one in HS but couldn't tell you a lick about it.
It genuinely never gets old! We have the channel that our TV turns on to set to some random channel (I don't even know how we get these channels, are they free?!) that only plays reruns of Tiny House Nation, and it's so fun. We often just decide to watch them, which is hilarious because we cannot pause or skip commercials, and we get frustrated every time. Ah, how nostalgic. I saw that episode a long time ago but haven't seen it lately-- but I have watched the Lil Jon one twice now in a month so there is that, lol.
I would love to hear what your favorite magazines are! I am trying to bring back reading the newspaper and magazines instead of looking at screens. So many I used to love are no longer 😢

Lavender coffee os theeeeee best!!! 💞 Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. 🙏

They are awesome! I used it a lot before I had kids but tend to get overwhelmed, but if I know what I'm looking for, it's a lot easier!

My kids call them my "cozy videos," hehe.

💞 Likewise, Ciara!
Take it as your sign! (Though I haven't personally read it yet, lol)

Right?! And the timeline of the Earth at the bottom of the pages-- so wild!! I love it when things are put into perspective like that.

We were obsessed with Tiny House Nation during the pandemic. Please tell me you've seen the "Steampunk" episode.
I just got back from another gardening center--dill, thyme, and Swiss Chard. We're just living off the land here.
Lovely newsletter per usual.

Love all these suggestions and I’m
So excited about the new printable! I just did the survey and I forgot to mention I LOVE when a new printable comes out! Thank you 😊
I love both Emma and The Hobbit - you may have inspired me to add a couple of classics to my list this year
I’ve done the same with less news consumption and it’s really helped. Now I need to work on social media. What’s worked for you to reduce it?
