My husband got so much out of The Book of Joy that he created a gathering around it, the Gathering of Joy, based on the Pillars of Joy from the book. Dave Abrams came to speak the first two years, along with his amazing wife Rachel. My husband is currently in Baja Sur Mexico leading the 8th Gathering of Joy!

A trip to Boston!! What a gift! Boston has been on our travel list for so long, this post may have just bumped it up a few notches! February was a very audiobook heavy month for me- and my favorite FAVORITE had to be The Dutch House. Tom Hanks' narration was the warm hug MY soul needed this month, and led me straight into Tom Lake, which is also quickly becoming a favorite!

I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on The Handmaid's Tale, once you get to it. The show is so 😵‍💫, I've gone back and forth on reading it.

Oh both of those books are some of my very faves!!! The audio versions truly are like hugs. I was so impressed with The Dutch House-- like, how does one write a story like that?! Fascinating!!

Ah yes I only made it about halfway through the first season of the show (I was pregnant at the time with our 3rd) but I am curious about the book.

I definitely want to check out The Art of Frugal Hedonism, so I’ve added it to my Goodreads list! Yesterday I finished reading Fight Right (psychology/self help) by Julie Gottman and John Gottman. Such a great book about relationships, conflict styles and better communication.

Adding ALL of these to my list! I read Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries and loved it. I've recently got into the cozy fantasy fiction genre, and have found it so refreshing!

I just had a monthly lunch with girlfriends, and we always end the lunch talking about books. Someone highly recommended "Parable of the Sower." Might add to my elevated fiction list. :o)

And you know I owned the Frugal Hedonism book. I love it, Iove it, I love it. The writing is perfectly done with humor and a zest for life. A keeper.

Ohhh, you had such a good reading month! Isn't Beacon Hill Books so lovely? We took a daytrip down to Boston in February too and visited Lovestruck Books in Harvard Square. It reminded me a bit of Beacon Hill Books, highly recommend a visit next time you're down!

Would recommend The Partner Plot as well if you liked The Neighbor Favor! I always have a soft spot for a sister series.

When I looked up the rest of the books in the series, that one immediately caught my attention! The third installment, The Love Lyric, just came out—though learning about it did slightly spoil the situation with one of the sisters in The Neighbor Favor. Still, it sounds fantastic! Both of her sisters have such unique relationship journeys, making for great book plots.

Oh I LOVED the Art of Frugal Hedonism. I usually pass books on after I've read them but that one earned a place on my bookshelf!

I just finished The Big Door Prize by M.O. Walsh and it was great.
