And… It’s June!
Does being on the cusp of 39, which I basically consider the cusp of 40, mean that time is now measured by a continuous series of wondering how time has passed so fast? I know I say this a lot, but how is it already a new month? A new season?!
Well, May was ✨magical✨. My baby girl turned two, and we celebrated my grandmother, who turns 90 later this year. I published my summer reading kit, which is one of my very favorite creations every year. We took the kids to Disneyland, and the Oklahoma City Thunder won the Western Conference— it was a highlight month in every way. Today, I’m sharing all the details of this month that thrust us into summertime and everything I’ve been Lovin’ Lately.
As we head into June, I hope your belly enjoys the pleasure of warm ripe strawberries (plucked by your own sweet hands if possible!), your summer reading efforts are as leisurely, steamy, or nostalgic as you so desire, that you find the perfect summer uniform (anything linen is my go-to), and stay in a pool long enough to turn your toes into prunes.
